Doctors are concerned that Amy's condition could deteriorate and need to work quickly to work out what is wrong with her. Paediatric registrar Sharmila is looking after Amy. 'There's quite a long list of things that make a baby stop breathing,' says Sharmilla. 'It's a scary position to be in as a parent.' Derek, who's 74, is brought into A&E after having a suspected stroke. He had a sudden severe headache and his wife Mary noticed he was confused. A CT scan reveals that Derek's had a bad bleed in his brain. He's taken for emergency surgery. Mary is determined to help Derek recover. Meanwhile, 31-year-old firefighter Glenn has come in to A&E with his twin, Dean. Glenn has a suspected abscess in his throat. The brothers are inseparable and even finish each other's sentences.
