<desc>We follow the West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedic crews over a 12-hour shift, filmed in spring 2021, as the nation emerges from the third lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic and at a time when the service has never been busier. Based at four ambulance hubs across the region, this series features some familiar faces as well as some brand-new crews responding to over 4000 calls a day, from stabbings and seizures to car crashes and assaults. In this episode, chaos reigns in a hotel as one person is accused of assaulting another. The police are called as the paramedics treat both patients. A midwife is in agony and doubled over in pain. Paramedics are puzzled when a man's jaw suddenly starts trembling and filling with fluid. A trip over a pet dog leaves a woman with a wound on her arm that won't stop bleeding. And a 76-year-old woman with fluctuating blood pressure confides in the paramedics that she's grieving the loss of her husband. <title lang="en">Kevin Mccloud's Listed Britain</title>
<desc>Brand new: Kevin McCloud travels the country to uncover the stories behind the buildings Britain has chosen to protect at the very highest level. Across England, Scotland and Wales, he looks at Grade I and Category A landmarks and asks the question: why did we save these buildings, and which ones might we one day regret losing?

This time, Kevin looks at six listed places where saving heritage meant campaigning, rebuilding, restoring and refusing to give up, and asks: why do some places only survive when ordinary people decide that losing them is unthinkable? In Coventry, Kevin visits a cathedral whose destruction became the start of something extraordinary: its bombed medieval ruins were kept standing, not as a scar, but as part of a radical new cathedral built beside them. Mavisbank - a pioneering Georgian villa outside Edinburgh - shows the fight to rescue a roofless masterpiece from collapse, and Newport Transporter Bridge in Wales reveals the struggle to save a working-class landmark of steel, rust and civic pride from decay and closure. At Baguley Hall, Kevin meets enthusiasts reviving a mighty medieval timber hall, while Lytham Hall shows how a community pulled together to bring a Georgian house back to life. Finally, at Great Malvern Priory, Kevin explores a church saved from the Reformation by villagers and tries bellringing with their modern-day descendants. Exec Prods: Ned Williams, Gill Wilson; Prod Co: Plum Pictures

    <title lang="en">Kevin Mccloud's Listed Britain</title>
<desc>Kevin McCloud travels the country to uncover the stories behind the buildings Britain has chosen to protect at the very highest level.
