<desc>Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are on the Kent coast - Phil's home turf. Phil's with Ellen, who is moving out from her mum and dad's in Hertfordshire and wants to live amid Margate's vibrant LGBTQ+ community. Twenty-something Ellen tells Phil that she 'grew up' with the show, so she thinks she can count on him to sort out her search. The pressure is on for Phil, particularly when Ellen tells him her mum will hate him after he finds her a fabulous one-bed flat without the spare bedroom for her parents to visit! In the hope of family harmony, Phil finds Ellen two and even three-bedroom homes, each of which has its charms. But no matter how good the homes, when it comes to making an offer, it becomes clear that nothing is going to be straightforward. Meanwhile, Kirstie's with Sophie, Matt and baby Tate, who need to get out of Sophie's mum's and find their own family home in Broadstairs. The couple have viewed over 100 houses and have seen Broadstairs' prices soar in the time they've been searching. Finding them the perfect property at a comfortable price proves problematic, even for Kirstie. As she says, prices could fall in the future, and that's a concern clearly playing on her couple's minds as they contemplate the biggest purchase of their lives. In the end, Kirstie is able to show them the right house, but it all comes down to whether Sophie and Matt think the price is right too. <desc>Kirstie calls on her decades of renovation experience to reunite warring couples across the UK and convince them to love their homes. Meanwhile, fresh from his previous series victory, Phil wows us all with some spectacular abodes in an effort to persuade our families to list them. This time, Kirstie and Phil are in the south Lanarkshire town of Strathaven, where Frank and Wilma are at an impasse over their four-bed family home. Having raised their two children there, Frank is firmly on Team Love It, convinced that they can still have many more happy years in the house. Wilma, on the other hand, is ready to list it. Now that their kids are flying the nest, they need to decide how - and, more importantly, where - to spend the next chapter of their lives, and Wilma has her sights set on the west coast! Kirstie and Phil both have their work cut out. Armed with a £50k Love It budget, Kirstie grapples with a poorly placed conservatory and a kitchen-diner that struggles to fit the extended family. Meanwhile, Phil's house-hunting along the glorious west coast. But even with a £350k List It budget and a downsize on the cards, he's put through his paces convincing Frank to swap suburban life for sea views.
