<desc>St George's hospital in south west London has one of the busiest A&amp;E departments in Britain, and is under more pressure than ever. It's a place where stories of life, love and loss unfold every day. This episode of RTS award-winning 24 Hours in A&amp;E focuses on the importance of having family. Mike, who's 79, collapsed in the street while walking his dog, Louie. His daughter Emma was driving along the same street when she saw Louie, then realised it was her father who had collapsed. Doctors give Mike medication to try and stabilise his very high heart rate. Meanwhile, his wife Rita talks about how important he is to her. Chartered surveyor Andrew, who's 53, tripped on a paving slab on his way to work and has a suspected dislocated shoulder. His daughter Hannah is surprised that such an innocuous accident brought him to A&amp;E: 'the amount of miles he sails, his speedboats, he does all this crazy stuff, and we ended up in A&amp;E with him because he tripped on a paving slab.' Doctors are concerned that Andrew has numbness in his arm and little finger so they send him for a CT scan. Nine-year-old Callum has pushed a piece of a plastic toy down his ear. When he was a toddler, Callum was diagnosed with autism. His mum Kelly says: 'as your first child, you start thinking "Oh, did I do something wrong in pregnancy? Did I cause that?" I mean after all he was in my body, I grew him.' As doctors attempt to retrieve the plastic from Callum's ear, Kelly talks about how much Callum and his sister Annie mean to her. <desc>The series that follows patients at St George's hospital, where stories of life, love and loss unfold every day. This shocking episode follows three women who are stabbed in broad daylight in a random attack at a supermarket car park in Surrey. Jean, who's 67, had gone to Sainsbury's to get macaroni cheese for her grandson and was stabbed in the back while she was carrying shopping to her car. Doctors are worried that the wound may have hit a vital organ or a major vessel and she's sent for urgent CT scans. Meanwhile, her daughter Clair recalls growing up in her mum's pub in Fulham: 'I remember a couple of guys came in with machetes yelling and shouting and she gave them a jolly good talking to... she's always been feisty... she can throw someone on the floor if she needs to.' Rani, who's 71, was stabbed twice in the back while she was waiting for a bus. Rani's daughter Soraya was at work when she received a call from a police officer. CT scans reveal that Rani has a lot of blood around her kidney. Janet, who's 62, was stabbed three times. A passer-by managed to stem the bleeding until an ambulance got to the scene. As doctors send Janet for a CT scan, her son Alex and ex-husband Mustafa are making their way to hospital. Mustafa recalls how he first met Janet in 1977 when he collected glasses from her table at a pub he was working in and knew he was going to marry her as soon as he saw her. When Janet's blood pressure drops to a critical level she's declared 'Code Red'. <title lang="en">Supermarkets Unwrapped: The Freezer Aisle</title>
<desc>Whether it's a quick visit to grab your dinner, or a full-on stocking-up with a trolley, Brits spend a lot of time at the supermarket. Most of us visit at least three times a week and it's been estimated that the average Brit will spend the equivalent of eight and a half months of their lives in a supermarket. Supermarkets Unwrapped takes a deep dive into the nation's favourite supermarket aisles to uncover the secrets of what's in your trolley. In this episode, the team chill out in the freezer aisle to understand how food gets to our supermarket chest freezers. Jimmy Doherty investigates why there's more to our frozen chips than just potatoes. Helen Lawal learns why frozen ready meals have best-before dates. Briony May Williams gets the inside scoop on soft-scoop ice cream. And Andi Oliver learns how to get the most out of your freezer at home. In the beautiful county of Yorkshire, Kirstie and Phil savour the delights of its biggest city, Leeds, as they help two sets of house-hunters who want to up sticks and move here. But the market is moving too - and at speed. Phil is with Kinga and Dave, who are moving with their toddler, Lily. They're leaving London and getting back closer to Dave's northern roots, in the hope of finding a house in the more affordable Leeds. They've promised Lily a garden with a slide, but they've already lost out on offers in the vibrant Leeds market. Now they're trusting Phil to deliver it, but that's no easy ask when properties are going to closing bids almost as quickly as they can view them. It's a search with both smiles and tears, but as Kinga and Dave tell Phil, this is a life-changing move, so he's got to expect it to be emotional. Kirstie is with Max, who is moving from Birmingham to put down roots in Leeds and be close to new partner Dan. As Kirstie reflects, love may be a strong drive to make a dream move, but she isn't sure he's grasped the realities of the market. Leeds may still offer great value, but his request for four bedrooms and a separate space to let out, all for a £240,000 budget, means Kirstie needs to deliver some love of her own - the tough kind. There are false starts and home truths, before Kirstie is indeed able to show him all the space he is after... It may yet be that this lover's dream can still come true. <desc>Brand new: The series that celebrates unique and breathtaking landscapes and tells the story of island life. More than 4000 islands are scattered along our coastlines, lakes, lochs and rivers. Many of them are tiny and remote, and over 200 of them are called home. And what they lack in size they make up for in character, culture and community. From the born and bred islanders to the people who made the decision to move to a remote place, we meet the people who work the land and the sea, and those who care for the natural world.

The custodians of Station Island, on County Donegal's Lough Derg, welcome over 10,000 people each year for a gruelling three-day pilgrimage without food or shoes. Roughly 150 miles to the north, Iona shares Station's monastic tradition. But life there is very different for Ailidh, who runs the island's unique takeaway. Battered by Atlantic waves, Owey has become a hotspot for adventurers, providing unique opportunities for kayakers and rock climbers like Orkney-born Ian. And on the Outer Hebridean island of North Uist, Londoner Alexander has just started a new life as a seaweed farmer. The hospital has one of the busiest A&amp;E departments in Britain, which is under more pressure than ever. It's a place where stories of life, love and loss unfold every day. This episode displays the strength of parental love. Marie, who's 31, arrives in A&amp;E by ambulance after collapsing at home with an unexplained headache. Doctors work fast to ascertain the cause of her collapse, with potentially devastating results. Marie's joined by her partner Cameron and her young child. Eileen, who's 87, comes in with shortness of breath and a high heart rate - she's no stranger to hospital. And 10-month-old Erin, who's accompanied by her doting dad Andy, has a build-up of wax in her ears following a cold and fever. <title lang="en">Our Tiny Islands</title>
<desc>The series that celebrates unique and breathtaking landscapes and tells the story of island life.

Series Prod: Liza Chambers; Prods/Dirs: Gary Watson, Jamie McBrien; Exec Prods: Brendan Hughes, Harry Bell, Neil Dimmock; Prod Co: Tern Television Production Ltd
