    <title lang="en">24 Hours in A&amp;e</title>
<desc>This episode goes behind the scenes at St George's hospital focusing on the important links we have to our immediate family and the qualities that we inherit from our parents. Seven-year-old Freddie is brought to A&amp;E after falling several metres from a tree in his garden. He's been in and out of consciousness and vomiting. Doctors are concerned he could have head or spinal injuries and rush him to the CT scanner. Freddie's mum and dad are by his bedside. Dad Sam talks about how a close friend's death when he was growing up made him very risk averse, but how Freddie is quite the opposite. Meanwhile, 66-year-old Martin is brought in after collapsing at home and spending the night on the floor. He's suffering from poor eyesight and dizziness. The stroke team diagnose a blood clot, but because of the amount of time since his collapse, clot-busting drugs will have little effect. As the severity of the situation becomes clear, Martin's daughter Marieke talks about her close bond with her dad. And eight-year-old Jayden has come to St George's with swollen eyes, the result of severe hay fever. While he's being treated, Mum Altina talks about bringing him up on her own and how Jayden thinks she should have another man in her life. Retired builder Roger has fallen four metres from his daughter Lisa's roof while doing some building work for her. The trauma team is concerned that he may have badly injured his head, back and neck in the accident. Folk musician Tad, who's 29, has come to A&amp;E after developing a dangerously high heart rate. <desc>Campsite critics explore beautiful Britain in their beloved caravans, campervans and motorhomes, bringing us the ultimate guide to the very best campsites in Britain and helping us plan our own staycations. At each campsite, the hosts will be out to impress their guests, because at the end of each week, only one can be voted The Perfect Pitch, winning the coveted plaque and a £2000 cash prize. Searching for the perfect pitch in north Wales, the camping connoisseurs arrive at their second campsite of the week, Cefn Coed, nestled within an ancient oak forest near the Mawddach Estuary. Campsite hosts Adrian and Natalie introduce them to their magical site, where Manthe and Corinne indulge in some forest bathing, Matt and Ryan spend the night in a traditional vardo caravan, and Carolynne even manages to impress husband David with dinner, after taking a Thai cooking class with host Natalie. But will this wilderness retreat earn five stars from any of the campers? Dir: Jay Ahmed; Series Prod: Lorna Hartnett; Exec Prods: Simon Cooper, Emyr Afan; Prod Co: Afanti Media

He lost consciousness at the scene and medics are worried that he may have sustained serious internal head injuries. The medical team give Will a CT scan to find out how badly he is hurt and, concerned that he hasn't spoken since the incident, they try to get him to talk. Meanwhile, in the paediatric area of A&amp;E, teenage parents Connor and Saffron have arrived with their six-month-old daughter Amira after their GP spotted an irregular heartbeat during a routine check-up. As the paediatric team examine baby Amira, Connor describes how he found out that Saffron was pregnant. 'She sent me a text,' he says. 'She put a load of faces on her phone - happy faces, sad faces and question marks - and then she just said "I'm pregnant".' And 20-year-old pizza delivery rider Chris is brought in to Resus after being knocked off his motorbike. He has sustained a very bad break to his right leg and doctors have to stabilise him before scanning the injury. <desc>The RTS award-winning documentary series filmed around the clock at St George's in south west London. Staff discuss how they and their patients face deeply challenging situations on a daily basis, in an episode that explores people's different coping mechanisms. Carole, who's 45, is brought to A&amp;E by ambulance after experiencing chest pains and collapsing at home. Tests reveal that Carole has had a heart attack. She's given a blood-thinning drug and prepared for an emergency procedure to unblock an artery in her heart. Carole talks about her difficult past and how she has turned her life around. Psychiatrist Philip, who's 53, is rushed to St George's following a seizure. Doctors suspect that the root cause might be a stroke. Neurology registrar Chris quickly discovers that Philip was diagnosed with lung cancer several months earlier, which could be related. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Lucy has come to A&amp;E with her mum Tracey because of a severe headache. Lucy has a condition called intracranial hypertension, a pressurised build-up of excess spinal fluid in her head.
