    <title lang="en">The Lodge</title>
<desc>Writers and directors Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz's suspenseful horror brings a fresh twist to the classic tale of a stepmother trying to fit in with her new family. But Grace (Riley Keough) isn't quite Mia (Lia McHugh) and Aiden's (Jaeden Martell) stepmother yet. She's just their dad Richard's (Richard Armitage) girlfriend. And the kids aren't in the market for a new mum - especially not a new mum who they blame for their actual mother Laura's (Alicia Silverstone) suicide just months earlier. So they're determined to make her feel properly rejected. The situation ramps up when Richard has to leave Grace and the kids alone together in the family lodge. Mia and Aiden decide to show her their full displeasure. And because Grace was the lone survivor of her dad's mass-suicide cult, she's particularly vulnerable to their manipulations. Unlike classic fairy tale stepmothers, Grace really wants to fit in with her new family. Unfortunately, the children aren't fans of the classics. But it's probably going to be Grimm.

    <title lang="en">Secret Headquarters</title>
<desc>Family comedy with Owen Wilson and Michael Peña. When 14-year-old Charlie's (Walker Scobell) rubbish dad Jack (Wilson) blows him out again, he invites his friends over to hang. Mooching round his father's cabin, they find a secret elevator. Of course, they can't resist getting in. And when the doors open, they're standing in a superhero's lair. Jack isn't just a rubbish dad, he's also The Guard, a bit like Iron Man but with a 12 certificate. But where there's a superhero there must also be a villain. Sure enough, Ansel Argon (Peña) is on their case, looking for the source of The Guard's power, known as... wait for it... The Source. Can Charlie put aside his disappointment in Jack enough to ensure The Source's safety? Also featuring Reece Witherspoon's niece Abbie James Witherspoon.

<desc>Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe star in director Theodore Melfi's Oscar-nominated fact-based drama about three extraordinary women, whose genius in mathematics and engineering made a significant contribution to the space race. It's the early 1960s and Katharine Johnson (Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Monáe) are working as computers - human number-crunchers - for NASA. It's a difficult period for everyone at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia: NASA seems to be stalling, while Russia is achieving first after first - from launching Sputnik to putting Yuri Gagarin into space. At this rate, America will lose the race to the moon. NASA's problems include the need for someone who can handle the equations that determine launch and landing trajectories; constant mechanical setbacks with their rockets and capsules; and teething problems with their brand-new IBM mainframe. Katharine, Mary and Dorothy each help to solve these headaches for NASA. But to do so, they must battle the profound racism and sexism of the era every step of the way. With Kevin Costner and Kirsten Dunst.

    <title lang="en">The War Lord</title>
<desc>Charlton Heston stars in this gritty medieval drama from director Franklin J Schaffner (Planet of the Apes, Patton, Papillon). Chrysagon (Heston) is an 11th-century knight who is sent to defend a Druid village at the edge of his master's domain in Normandy. It's a mixed blessing for the villagers, as their defenders are only marginally less rapacious and abusive than the Frisian marauders from whom they're meant to be protected. After rescuing the beautiful bride-to-be Bronwyn (Rosemary Forsyth) from his own men, Chrysagon decides to exercise his droit de seigneur. Tradition dictates he should return the new bride to her husband once he's slept with her, but Bronwyn decides to stay with her knight - and that choice will spark further unrest, both within the community and beyond. With Richard Boone and Guy Stockwell.

    <title lang="en">Next Goal Wins</title>
<desc>Taika Waititi's fact-based football comedy stars Michael Fassbender as the washed-up coach hired to help the spectacularly unsuccessful American Samoa team to score just one goal in a game, any game. Having lost 31-0 to Australia in a 2002 World Cup qualifier, American Samoa's national football team wants to do better... and only one better, which surely isn't too much to ask. Enter Thomas Rongen, the bitter, twisted and wholly inappropriate coach engaged to achieve this, er, goal. He was so bad at his last job that his ex-wife Gail and her boyfriend Alex Magnussen - not Ferguson - sent him to the island just to get rid of him. Once there - under the expert guidance of manager Tavita - he must get the likes of Jaiyah, Ace and Rambo in line - or 4-4-2, if you prefer. Or perhaps it's them who need to get him in line. Either way, will the team ever get that one, solitary, dreamt about goal?

Jann Mardenborough is really good at Gran Turismo, the motorsport computer game... er, simulator. His mum, Lesley, thinks it's fine. His dad, Steve, wishes his boy would get out more. Then Jann gets a call from Danny Moore - a marketing guy who's come up with the idea of transforming Gran Turismo gamers into real racing drivers in the real world. And he's enlisted burnt-out driver Jack Salter to train these guys up. But can armchair driver Jann really cut it in the dangerous and adrenaline-fuelled world of racing? Spot the real Jann Mardenborough, who plays a stunt double for the actor playing him.

    <title lang="en">T2 Trainspotting</title>
<desc>Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Robert Carlyle and Jonny Lee Miller reprise their roles in Danny Boyle's sequel to the classic comedy-drama about the lives of young Edinburgh drug addicts. The story picks up 20 years after the events that unfolded in Trainspotting. After double-crossing his buddies, Renton (McGregor) fled to Amsterdam, where he gave up heroin and got a job and a girlfriend; Spud (Bremner) followed a similar path in Edinburgh, until his marriage to Gail (Shirley Henderson) fell apart and he returned to smack; Sick Boy's (Miller) drug of choice is now coke, and he's running a blackmail hustle with his Bulgarian girlfriend Veronika (Anjela Nedyalkova); and Begbie (Carlyle) has languished malevolently in prison for the entire period. But when Renton has a heart attack at the gym, he returns to Edinburgh hoping to put the past behind him and reconcile with his old friends. This doesn't necessarily go smoothly, particularly when Begbie breaks out of jail. And so begins another round of stories involving sex, drugs, survival, scams, friendship and revenge. With Kelly Macdonald.
