<desc>Roy Boulting's Second World War action drama stars Jeffrey Hunter as Canadian Andrew 'Canada' Brown, serving in the Royal Navy, who is taken prisoner by the German raider Essen which has sunk his ship. The Essen then puts in to a remote island for repairs. Brown manages to escape, taking with him a rifle and ammunition. From the island's cliffs, he snipes at the sailors working on repairs, hoping to delay the ship's departure long enough for British forces to arrive and sink her. But he pays high personal cost for his bravery. With Michael Rennie, Wendy Hiller and Bernard Lee.

    <title lang="en">Anastasia</title>
<desc>Don Bluth and Gary Goldman's animated drama is loosely based on the story of Anastasia Nikolaevna, daughter of the last Tsar of Russia. When most of her family are executed, only Anastasia and her grandmother (voiced by Angela Lansbury) escape, but they get separated. Years later, con artists Dimitri and Vladimir (John Cusack and Kelsey Grammer) hear of a reward for the return of Anastasia to her grandmother and begin preparing Anya (Meg Ryan) to play the part, little realising the teenage girl's real identity. Also featuring Christopher Lloyd as the voice of Rasputin who, trapped in limbo, can only escape if his curse is fulfilled and the Tsar's bloodline is finally ended.

    <title lang="en">The Devil Wears Prada</title>
<desc>Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep star in David Frankel's comedy. Andy Sachs (Hathaway) is an aspiring journalist from Ohio who puts her disparaging opinions about the fashion industry to one side when she lands a job as junior personal assistant to Miranda Priestly (Streep), the editor of the successful New York magazine Runway. Andy doesn't have an auspicious start to her new career, and even has to borrow stylish clothes in order to fit in with her new colleagues. She also soon discovers that Priestly is an egomaniac in immaculate clothing, whose whims come before the personal lives of Andy and her partner Nate (Adrian Grenier). But, slowly, a mutual respect grows between the two women. With Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.

    <title lang="xx">Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris</title>
<desc>Lesley Manville stars as a humble cleaner who decides that she simply must have a Dior couture dress, and heads to Paris to find one in director Anthony Fabian's Oscar-nominated period comedy drama. Ada Harris (Manville) cleans houses for the great and the good... aka the rich... including Giles Newcombe (Christian McKay) and his polished knobs and Lady Dant (Anna Chancellor) and her wonderful wardrobe. It's at Lady Dant's house that Ada sees something quite exquisite - a £500 Dior dress. And she simply must have 'one them frocks', she tells her friend Violet (Ellen Thomas). After a bit of scrimping and saving and a windfall from a war-widow's pension, she travels to Paris to realise her dream. In The City of Light, she encounters a snooty Dior manager (Isabelle Huppert), who takes an instant dislike to our hero. But then the Marquis de Chassange (Lambert Wilson) invites Ada to a showing of the latest collection. Suddenly she's hobnobbing with the likes of Dior accountant André (Lucas Bravo) and renowned model Natasha (Alba Baptista). Perhaps it's not just a dress that Ada will end up with... Based on the novel Flowers for Mrs Harris by Paul Gallico. For her work on the film, Jenny Beavan was nomianted for the Oscar for Best Achievement in Costume Design.

    <title lang="en">Wrath of Man</title>
<desc>Everyone's favourite ass-kicking bald man Jason Statham reunites with director Guy Ritchie to give it both barrels as a moodily mysterious hardman known to his colleagues as H. Patrick 'H' Hill (Statham) starts working for a firm that transports cash around LA in armoured trucks, shortly after a spate of robberies has begun. He doesn't seem like a great addition to the team - his shooting is average and his people skills are so bad that his colleagues start to suspect that he's an inside man for the gangs. But then there's another heist and H singlehandedly kills all the gunmen, while his supervisor Bullet (Holt McCallany) ironically serves as a human shield for the baddies. Even H's partner, the aptly named Boy Sweat Dave (Josh Hartnett), sits sweatily, incapacitated with fear, in the truck. But is H an inside man so utterly ruthless that he's prepared to kill members of his own gang to maintain his cover? Or is there something else going on? Based on the 2004 French film Le Convoyeur (Cash Truck).

Kelly-Anne is a model. Kelly-Anne is a hacker. Kelly-Anne has an uncanny ability to easily beat anyone at online poker. But Kelly-Anne also has a morbid fascination for Ludovic Chevalier - aka the Demon of Rosemont - who is accused of kidnapping, torturing and murdering three teenage girls live on the dark web. So obsessed is Kelly-Anne with these crimes that she attends each day of his trial, seemingly finding gratification in every tiny detail. And yet, Kelly-Anne seems somehow different from the other hybristophiliac groupies, like Clementine. So what is she after? In French, with English subtitles.
