<desc>Social Media Monsters examines serious crimes where social media played a significant role, with interviews with victims and their friends and families, and input from experts - from digital forensics to police and psychologists. In this episode, when businesswoman Justine Wright let Sam Wall go from the firm, it triggered a decade-long stalking campaign. Using LinkedIn, Instagram and X, Sam set out to destroy Justine's reputation online. But when Justine refused to engage, Sam turned her attention to others, including motivational speaker Brad Burton, whom she'd met for just 30 seconds, and Naomi Timperley, who became a target after trying to help Sam. The story of Sam Wall is a chilling exploration of modern harassment and the power of online obsession. Prod Co: Crackit

    <title lang="en">Murder Case: The Digital Detectives</title>
<desc>The show that follows the digital forensics units of police forces as they dig deep inside murder cases across the UK. These are the detectives who understand that in today's world, the most compelling evidence isn't always found at the scene, it's hidden inside digital devices, buried in metadata, and scattered across social media platforms.

Matthew Daulby was fatally stabbed after a fight erupted on the street in Ormskirk. His killer fled the country, triggering an international manhunt driven by digital detective work. In July 2023, 19-year-old Matthew Daulby said goodbye to his parents as he left for the pub. As a minor altercation between two groups of men erupted into a violent, chaotic street fight, Matthew was struck on the head and a knife was plunged into his back. The whole event was caught on blurry CCTV and the murder weapon and a distinctive jacket worn by the suspect were recovered nearby. But detectives needed digital forensics to unlock the events of the night to identify those responsible.?A?social media groupchat flagged two names, 21-year-old Thomas Dures and his friend 19-year-old Henry Houghton. Further clues were discovered buried in the digitals. Audio from a camera in a churchyard recorded Dures talking about the stabbing; and CCTV from earlier in the night showed him wearing the distinctive coat seen in the fight. Henry Houghton was quickly charged and convicted of murder, but Thomas Dures fled the country. Months of investigation followed until Dures had nowhere left to turn and handed himself into police in Athens. Dures was convicted of murder in July 2025. <desc>Kevin McCloud follows more of Britain's most ambitious self-building projects, as intrepid individuals attempt to design and construct the home of their dreams. Holistic therapist Kara and electrician Jonny are building a striking stone and zinc four-bedroom family home in the rolling hills of West Yorkshire, for themselves and their two young children. The need to build has been motivated by Kara's recent paralysis, caused by a rare autoimmune condition. Their ambition for the house is enormous, as Kara wants to create a home that is not only beautiful but will help her regain some independence. With money tight, Jonny needs to take on a lot of the work himself. As the build progresses, and despite the challenges coming thick and fast, compromise is not an option with both form and function so essential. Building their single storey pushes both Kara and Jonny to the edge of their emotional and physical reserves, but if they can pull it off, it might just redefine what accessible design means.
