<title lang="en">24 Hours in Police Custody: The Home County Cartel</title>
<desc>A two-part special about the importation of huge quantities of Class A drugs, focusing on the work of covert detectives from the Eastern Region Special Operation Unit. A consignment weighing more than 100 kilos has been intercepted while being imported into the UK from Europe. To reveal who is behind this, an undercover operation is authorised to closely monitor the shipment, using audio and visual equipment, as it travels to its final destination at a farm in rural Hertfordshire. The detectives believe that the consignment is one of 39 deliveries that are part of a conspiracy to flood the streets with Class A drugs worth £58 million. The criminals are using cutting edge technology to organise the shipment. The covert team get a lucky break and gain access to messages being sent on specialist Encro encrypted phones. The men behind the conspiracy believe these phones can never be accessed by the authorities and their messages give away a vital clue - their leader is working under the code name 'Jaguar Palace'. In the first episode, cameras follow every twist and turn of the investigation to establish the identity of Jaguar Palace and the criminal network behind the biggest ever importation of class A drugs into the eastern region of the UK. This is real-life drama where the facts turn out to be more compelling than fiction. Dir: Sophie Oliver; Exec Prods: Zac Beattie, Simon Ford, Flavia Taylor; Prod Co: The Garden

This episode is all about single-storey living as Kirstie and Phil chat bungalows and look back at a unique home. Catherine and Nigel Finch were at loggerheads over their dated 70s-style bungalow in Larne. After Catherine's mother died, they made the bold decision to downsize, reduce their mortgage and free up funds to enjoy life. Nigel quickly fell in love with their new home, thanks to the rural location and incredible views. But although she pushed for the move, Catherine never loved it. With £35k to spend, was the garage a love-it game changer? Or did Phil nick it at the final hurdle and convince them to list it? <desc>In this 25th anniversary year of Grand Designs, Kevin McCloud takes a nostalgic journey back to the very beginning, as he makes a special revisit to the first-ever project, from 1999, in the East Sussex coastal town of Newhaven. Paragliding school owners Tim and Jules wanted to build a new family home on the cliffs in a record three months. Their need for such a lightning-quick build stemmed from Jules's pregnancy, as the couple intended to have their first baby together in their brand-new house. But the groundworks and the erection of their timber frame kit - which was specially designed for speed - didn't go to plan. More problems followed, from unexpected costs to materials not arriving in time, which meant that Jules and Tim's home birth dream was in serious jeopardy. When Kevin last visited, newborn Tiger had come along, but the house was barely finished. Now, a quarter of a century later, Kevin returns to see how life has been for the very first Grand Designs family, including a very grown-up Tiger, in the house where it all began.
