<desc>The proposition put forth by the Taskmaster, Greg Davies, and his efficient assistant, Alex Horne, may not seem like a hugely enticing one: come to a strange house near a golf course, attempt a range of unusual and apparently pointless tasks and then have your performance picked apart by an angry man sitting on an imposing throne. And yet the lure of claiming the fabled Taskmaster trophy has attracted five more comics who have been selected to participate in the fun and games. They are: Amy Gledhill, Armando Iannucci, Joanna Page, Joel Dommett and Kumail Nanjiani. Like so many before them, they all believe that they can impress the Taskmaster. But only one will be immortalised as the 21st Taskmaster champion.

In this first episode, Amy Gledhill, Armando Iannucci, Joanna Page, Joel Dommett and Kumail Nanjiani go hunting for a small creature, serve Greg his fruit and veggies and attempt to catch a golden T-shirt. But who will find all the oranges? Exec Prods: Alex Horne, Richard Allen-Turner, Rob Aslett, Andy Devonshire, James Taylor, Jon Thoday; Series Prod: Andy Cartwright; Series Dir: Andy Devonshire; Prod Co: Avalon

<desc>Kevin McCloud follows Britain's most ambitious self-building projects, as intrepid individuals attempt to design and construct the home of their dreams. Ordering a factory-built house was a no-brainer for Pete, given his background in manufacturing and supply chain strategy. For Pete - who values quality products that are supplied on time and on budget - the idea of skipping all the time-consuming, tortuous and messy processes of normal building, and having a near-finished house delivered straight to his plot instead, was irresistible. His wife Aey, a ceramicist, agreed, so long as their new home could be beautiful and spacious enough for their two kids, Alice and Joe. So they contracted an architectural practice who specialise in ambitious eco-modular home production and selected one of their factories in Wales to assemble their super sustainable structures using local Douglas fir trees. Surely nothing could go wrong, right? Wrong! Two big hurdles await in the form of bats and the challenge of transporting five gigantic modules from Wales to their rural West Sussex plot, down tiny lanes. Waiting for their furry inhabitants' hibernation season to end before they could demolish their building, get on with groundworks and gain vital ecology permission wasn't on their bingo card. But with the factory already going full-steam ahead like a bat out of hell, will they get the bat licence before delivery? <title lang="en">Jerry &amp; Marge Go Large</title>
<desc>Bryan Cranston and Annette Bening star in this charming comedy based on a true story, about a retired couple who find a way to exploit a lottery loophole. Jerry (Cranston) is retiring from Kellogg's after 42 years. He doesn't want to. He's good with numbers. But they're closing his line and the boss tells him to enjoy his 'golden years'. Jerry is a man who needs to fill his time. His wife Marge (Bening) is concerned about the idea of him helping around the house. She has a system. But to keep him occupied, his family have bought him a fishing boat. Does he fish? He does now. For Jerry, retirement seems to involve forcing himself to enjoy leisure activities he doesn't want to do. He's just filling time. Then one day, he overhears a conversation at the local store and realises that there's a way of drastically improving the odds of winning the lottery. And it's within the rules. He runs the numbers and gets started with a $2000 stake. It works. And because Jerry is a nice guy, he involves his whole town, so everyone can benefit. But then an evil gaggle of rich kids notice the same loophole and try to muscle in on Jerry and Marge's action. There isn't room for two sets of professional lottery players in the world, you see. But who will win the right to cheat the might of the lottery machine? Directed by David Frankel.
